DESCRIPTION
The Pyrotech PLG-MF32 magnetic float level gauge is a direct reading level gauge which is innovativelydesigned based on the principle of magnetic coupling. lt is also known as the magnetic flipped columnlevel gauge or the magnetic flanged plate level gauge, suitable for measurement of liquid level of limit inopen or closed containers. In according with the requirement from related standard, the liquid levelmeasurement of pressure tank shall be equipped with a set of remote transmitting instrument and a setof in-place indicating instruments. The local indicating instrumcent should not use glass plate level meter.The magnetic float level gauge has replaced the glass plate level gauge and become the best choice ofthe liquid level indicator.
Magnetic float level meter has reasonable structure, visual and clear display, and can be equipped with liquid level transmitter and liquid level switch to realize the function of remote signal transmission. This product has been widely used in oil, chemical, electric power, metallurgy, food, pharmaceutical, paper, water treatment and other industries of liquid level measurement and liquid level process control.
PRINCIPLE
Magnetic float level gauge using magnetic float as measuring element. When the liquid level in the storage tank changes, the float with permanent magnetic steel will move along with the liquid level. The movement of the float linearly transmits the liquid level change to the magnetic column (flap) in the indicator through the magnetic coupling principle. The magnetic column (flap) changes the indicating color through 180 degrees rotation, thus achieving the purpose of indicating the liquid level in the storage tank.

STYLES OF VISUAL INDICATION
FLOAT TECHNOLOGY
The float contained within the magnetic level indicator is perhaps the most important element of the instrument. Its structural design, volume
displacement, weight, and buoyancy force are all carefully considered when a float is specified for a particular application.
Pyrotech engineers have designed and tested hundreds of floats to gather the most accurate data available. We have designs for thousands of unique applications around the world, including high pressure, high temperature, and interface.

Remote Transfer Unit
1. Detection Form of Remote Signal Transmitter
Remote signal transmitter includes reed resistive liquid level transmitter and magnetostrictive liquid level transmitter.
2. Dry Reed Resistance Type Liquid Level Transmitter
The remote transmission unit is bound to the outside of the measuring cylinder. When the liquid level in the storage tank changes, the float with permanent magnetic steel will move along with the liquid level. The movement of the float closes the reed tube corresponding to the liquid level value under the action of the float magnetic field, changes the resistance value and current, and outputs 4 ~ 20mA signals
through the mode-electricity conversion circuit, thus realizing the purpose of remote transmission of
the liquid level signal. When applied in explosion-proof occasions, the dry reed resistance type liquid
level transmitter adopts explosion-proof shell.

3. Magnetostrictive Liquid Level Transmitter
The remote transmission unit is bundled on the outer side of the measuring tube, and the current pulse is transmitted along the Magnetostrictive line in the measurement tube to form an annular magnetic field. When the liquid level in the tank changes, the float with permanent magnet will move with the level. The magnetic field of the float magnetizes the magnetostrictive line along the axis. A torsional pulse is produced at the superposition of two magnetic fields. The transmission time of the pulse is measured by the remote transmission unit. After processing by th processor, the 4-20mA signal is output through the analog to electric conversion circuit. In the application of explosion protection, the magnetostrictive liquid level adopts the flameproof shell.
